Hello, I’m Tasleem.
I am a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor – Candidate (RTCc*) providing counselling for adults and adolescents in Vancouver and across British Columbia through secure online sessions.
Personal Perspective
My work is informed by both clinical training and lived experience navigating complex relational dynamics and prolonged periods of stress.
I came to this work because I understand, from the inside, how hard it can be to find steady ground when the environment around you does not support it. Through these experiences I developed a deep interest in how clarity, emotional stability, and self-trust can gradually erode in destabilizing environments — and how they can be rebuilt through careful reflection and supportive therapeutic work.
Clinical Orientation
My counselling style is calm, thoughtful, and grounded in regulation-based practice. Our focus starts with steadiness and emotional regulation, followed by reflection, meaning-making, and integration.
Areas of interest include:
• relational stress
• anxiety and chronic overwhelm
• identity and life transitions
• rebuilding self-trust and discernment
Ethical Practice
I practice under regular clinical supervision and follow professional standards established by counselling regulatory bodies. Sessions are collaborative, confidential, and respectful of each individual’s autonomy and pace.
My role is not to direct your life, but to support your discernment as you reconnect with your internal compass.
